Job Description
In this part time position, you'll be responsible for 24x7 production support to Manufacturing Computing Systems and/or Applications ( Station Controller ) production database administration. Specific duties include providing basic to moderate troubleshooting of issues, identifying resolution actions and implementing solutions to return the environment to normal operations.
Qualifications
Candidates must have knowledge of customer service
Good understanding of the technical and operational environment
Good verbal & written English skills
Demonstrable good understanding of the data processing environment
Effective communication skills ( through telephone ) and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision
Total quality and customer service oriented individual
Good analytical skills
Good understanding of VMS, UNIX, NT, WorkStream, LAN, WAN, Network Protocols, and client and/or server architecture would be an added advantage
Knowledge of manufacturing system environment would be an added advantage
Good communication skills in Mandarin would be an added advantage
Diploma or degree in Comp Sc, IT, Electrical
