Tax and Accounting, a business unit of Thomson Reuters, is the leading provider of tax compliance software in the U.S.A., the United Kingdom and Australia/New Zealand The Asia Pacific operations offers corporate tax, VAT/GST, global tax technology solutions and information solutions to large international corporations and professionals ( accountants ) across the area. 

The Inside Sales Representative will promote and sell Thomson Reuters leading software products by outgoing call calls from our established database of networks and contacts. This person will be supplied with the tools and support. The chosen prospect will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

1. Prospect to tax executives at all levels to share on a suite of sophisticated software solutions.

2. Create, record and maintain contact and lead information, and progressively work towards next stage in the sales cycle.

3. Briefly discuss the benefits of our solutions, emphasizing product features based on analyses of customers' demands

4. Lead up sales campaigns in order to meet sales expectations, and fulfill monthly quota goals

5. Maintain a working knowledge of company products, special sales programs and marketing efforts within the sales division.

6. Work closely with Sales Reps to optimize sales opportunities

7. Obtain competitive market intelligence during daily contacts and shares information appropriately in order to assist in the development of sales strategies.

8. You'll be accountable for setting and appointment with the tax technical representative to demonstrate our tax solutions. This post isn't selling our product right away.

9. Prior experience and knowledge in local / regional tax jurisdictions preferred but training will be provided

10.Must be comfortable with making cold calls to expected prospects

11. May be necessary to attend conferences or go onsite along with sales team

Qualifications

1. Degree required, preferably in Accounting, Marketing or Communications

2. Multi-lingual, and ability to communicate well in English, Mandarin & Malay 

3. Pleasant and high energy candidates with a good personality needed

4. Excellent communication skills

5. Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment

6  Ability to understand and communicate technical benefits of our tax software solutions

Optional:

1. Sales with 1-2 yrs previous phone / field experience is a advantageous

2  Ideally with some working experience in the BIG4 or local accounting firms

3. Industry contacts especially in the finance and / or tax sectors

4. Ideal for junior tax / accounting professionals

5  Fresh graduates with any previous internship in an accounting firm may also employ
